Mitch Anderson - Chief Executive Officer
Mitch leads Source Power & Gas as its CEO. He is responsible for planning, implementing and integrating the strategy for Source and its part in ERM Power’s global retailing vision. He led the acquisition of Source by ERM Power in 2014 and now has the goal of leading Source to be a top 10 retailer to business customers in both the PJM and ERCOT markets.
Mitch formerly led ERM Business Energy, the number 2 electricity retailer to businesses in Australia. Mitch has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry across three countries. Mitch holds a Master’s in Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California and Bachelor of Science degree from California State University.
John Werner - President
John is responsible for the vision and growth of Source. His passion, experience and expertise are in developing and growing businesses dedicated to the interest of the clients they serve. Prior to starting Source, John led Consolidated Edison Solutions’ ERCOT electric supply business; he helped start and develop Integrys’ ERCOT electric supply business and served as Senior Counsel; and he served as In-House Attorney and Senior Director to Constellation New Energy. Before working in the deregulated electricity market, John practiced law in Houston, Texas.
Qadir Khan - Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Qadir is responsible for accounting, pricing, operations, risk, HR and IT. Qadir has over 15-years of energy and banking experience. Prior to joining Source, Qadir held several leadership roles with ConEd Energy, Nesbitt Burns & First USA Bank & Aptar Group. In recent years Qadir was instrumental in the growth of ConEd Solutions retail electric business in ERCOT by managing their ERCOT portfolio. He also architected the transition from the zonal market to the nodal market within ERCOT. Mr. Khan received his education in Canada and the United States with degrees in international business, economics and finance.
Kelli Mitchell - Vice President, Operations
Kelli Mitchell is the Vice President, Operations for Source Operations Group LLC. She has 26 years of experience in the energy industry with 12 years of retail electricity experience. Prior to joining Source Operations Group LLC, her most recent energy experience was in the position of Director, Retail Risk Management at Gexa Energy where she was responsible for the retail risk, contract administration, credit, and delinquency and collections functions. Prior to Gexa Energy, Kelli was Director, Operations at Constellation NewEnergy where she was responsible for the credit, enrollments, billing, payment posting, customer care and account management, collections, and customer retention functions. Prior to her promotion to Director, Operations at Constellation NewEnergy, Kelli was Billing Manager and Settlements Manager. At both Gexa Energy and Constellation NewEnergy (TX region) in addition to leading her functional teams, Kelli was a member of the leadership team, working with other members of the leadership team to provide strategic direction for the organizations.
Kelli’s energy career began at MidAmerican Energy where she had experience on both the regulated and deregulated sides of the electricity business. On the regulated electricity side of the business, she worked in the areas of internal audit, accounting, budget and planning, and rates and tariffs. When MidAmerican Energy expanded into the deregulated electricity business, Kelli moved over to that side of the company to perform the pricing, forecasting, scheduling, and enrollment functions. Kelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration, both from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Sean Andrews - Vice President, Pricing and Structuring
Sean Andrews is responsible for managing pricing, structuring, and product development for Source. Mr. Andrews is a results oriented individual with experience managing the growth and support of a retail energy supply portfolio as well as the development of various complex products and pricing systems. Prior to joining the Source team, he held the position of Director of Supply and Pricing at Potentia Energy, LLC (PE). There he was responsible for all portfolio management and pricing related activities as well as the transition and implementation of all processes and reporting related to the ERCOT Nodal market. Before PE, he was employed by Reliant Energy within the structuring group. Mr. Andrews holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Houston.
Shelby Puckett - Senior Vice President, Sales
Prior to joining Source Power and Gas, Shelby was the Director of ERCOT indirect sales at Gexa/NextEra, the retail energy subsidiary of NextEra Energy (NYSE: NEE), located in Houston, Texas. During his tenure, his primary roles included managing third-party relationships, event marketing and web portal development. Prior to Gexa/NextEra, Shelby was a founding principal of Integrys Energy Services of Texas (subsequently acquired by Gexa/NextEra), a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group (NYSE: TEG), where he was responsible for start-up development, sales and marketing; resulting in closing the first two 10-year retail supply agreements in Texas among other marquee customers. Prior to Integrys, Shelby was the Director of ERCOT indirect sales at Constellation, the retail energy subsidiary of Exelon (NYSE: EXC), where his roles included establishing an indirect sales desk, event marketing, mentoring/sponsoring/hosting the first meeting of the TEPA organization and contributing to growing the Texas retail book from 600 MWs to 5,000 MWs.
Brent Hughes - EVP Trading and Portfolio Optimization
Brent Hughes is a seasoned commodity professional with 15+ years’ experience in the power trading industry. He has an extensive background in transmission and congestion trading for the US Power market. He has a proven track record for getting the job done and rapidly ascended in the industry since 1998 through hard work and knowledge of the physical grid.
Brent has spent his entire working life in the energy trading sector and has more than two decades’ experience in the energy business. He has traded for large corporations and private funds, based in Texas and in New York, and working across national markets.
